Read MoreTime for some nail art goodies! Simply Nailogical’s Holo Taco recently released a new line of toppers she deemed unicorn skin (more references to some of her older videos). They’re flakie top coats that change color based on lighting and the base color they’re painted over. I bought all three: Aurora, Cosmic, and Solar. They arrived and I was super excited based on how they look in the bottle.
Read MoreJeff and I have recently developed an obsession with tea drinking that has resulted in acquisition of lots of tea “stuff”. It all started when we decided we liked the tea at a local Korean BBQ restaurant (you know, back when people could safely eat in a restaurant). We eventually discovered the tea was called hoji-cha and went on an expedition to the local Asian market to pick some up.
Read MoreWe had plans to go to Las Vegas with a few friends last week, but those plans did not work out due to coronavirus. This was some of my first scheduled time off since reset season and I love eating my way through Vegas, so the disappointment here was intense even though I know cancelling the trip was the right choice for all involved. We chose to eat our way through some of our favorite nearby restaurants via takeout instead (and Jeff did a bit of cooking/baking/pasta making too). It was no Vegas, but it was the next best thing given the current state of life.
Read MoreI’m sure it comes as no surprise that Lisa Frank school supplies were a major part of my childhood. The bright rainbow colors and cute animals are right up my alley. A few years ago Lisa Frank came out with a series of adult coloring books that were available at Dollar General. There are no DGs in my area so my wonderful mom located a set and mailed them to me. I have hoarded them away for the last few years instead of actually using them.
