Stitch Fix #26 - June 2018

It’s time for another Stitch Fix review! I love that this fix arrived just in time for summer. Read on to see what my stylist, Lori, sent me this month!

LEOTA Finnley Jersey Faux Wrap Dress - Kept

I love the colors and zig zag print on this dress! I generally shy away from wrap style items since they tend to gap on me, but this fit really nicely with no gapping. I ultimately decided to keep it.

MARKET & SPRUCE Evander Dress - Returned

This dress was a nice choice for summer. I liked the color/pattern, material, and neckline detail, but the waist hit me a little oddly and made a pouf that I didn't care for. I sent this one back.

MARKET & SPRUCE Gala Lattice Detail Dress - Returned

I might have squealed a little with excitement when I pulled this out of the box. I adore the color/print on this and the detail in the straps. Similar to the Evander dress above, I didn't care for the pouf above the elastic at the waist. I was so sad this wasn’t a keeper.

MARKET & SPRUCE Ezide Textured Print Top - Kept

I couldn’t get the color to come out correctly in the images above, but it’s a pretty pinky orange. Obviously, I like the color and the fit is lovely, but my favorite part is the texture of the material (I’m not sure how to describe it - more of a you need to see it thing). This one went straight into my closet.

SKIES ARE BLUE Reginald Crochet Detail Top - Returned

I had hope that this top was a keeper since I like the bright color and crochet detail. It fit nicely everywhere except the arms - it was just a teensy bit tight and that made moving my arms uncomfortable. As a wide shouldered gal, I didn’t think it was wise to keep this and risk ripping it just by moving around so it had to go back.

 Final thoughts on this fix

This fix arrived on the first weekend of summer and I think Lori did a fabulous job of sending me summery items with lots of bright colors - always a favorite for me! I think she really gets my style and does a great job of choosing items that are “me". I definitely would have kept more than two items if I wasn’t being so persnickety about fit. I feel that my summer wardrobe is complete, so I’ll be taking a break from Stitch Fix for a while. More to come in the fall!
