Simply the Nail Art Queen Bundle

More nail art goodies arrived today from my recent purchase: the Simply the Nail Art Queen bundle in addition to a restock of Got Cake? that I had missed on the original run.

The bundle included a new nail art mat in addition to a set of dotting tools and a set of nail art brushes. I have been satisfied with the quality of everything I’ve received from Holo Taco so far, so I was hoping for the same here. The mat is a nice size and thickness compared to the Winstonia I’ve been using for a few years and I like that it has a small raised edge to help prevent polish from running off the edge unlike the Winstonia. The only part I’m not sure about is the white squares to the left meant to test polish designs - I may prefer my Winstonia’s printed fingernails for that type of testing (I’ll report back). At first look, the dotting tools and brush set are much nicer than the Bundle Monster version I bought years ago. More to come on how they hold up with use.

I’m also thinking about how to work Got Cake? into my nail art rotation. It looks pretty neat on its own based on the pictures on the Holo Taco website, but I’m wondering how it would do as a topper. It also seems wintry to me, so it might also be a good candidate to use as a base for stamping. We’ll see what I come up with!
