Holo Taco Underglow Collection
/Holo Taco’s 2024 holiday collection is based on a formula that many folks loved from a 2023 polish: the micro-shimmer in Safiya’s Spirit Fingers (later followed by Alien Infatuation in early 2024). I am included in the group of folks who found this formula really fun, so I was excited to buy this collection. The vibes are very wintery (as opposed to “holiday” colors) which I think will actually be more wearable for me. Let’s dive in!
This collection includes six polishes in a limited edition collection box:
Moon Lagoon - an aqua jelly polish with pink micro-shimmer
Shadow Lake - a blue jelly polish with blue micro-shimmer
Swan Song - a white jelly polish with blue micro-shimmer
Vitamin Glow - a cornflower blue jelly polish with pink micro-shimmer
Phantom Call - a purply/mauve jelly polish with orangey/pink micro-shimmer
Cloud Nine - a light pink jelly polish with cyan micro-shimmer
I had a difficult time coming up with a nail art idea for this collection, but landed on an okay look - a swirly thing that reminded me of winter time. My only complaint with this collection in general is the number of coats to eliminate visible nail line. I admit that this is a me problem and I should probably try out some blurring base coats to see if they help instead of just whining.
