Ceres Top

CrochetWithAlannaMiall recently released the Ceres top pattern and it was an instant purchase for me since I’m a fan of the puff stitch look.

I found a new to me Eddie Bauer Adventurer cotton yarn and initially bought some for the second prototype of my relief wave shrug. When I saw that this pattern called for a sport weight yarn, I went back to Joann’s and bought more in this pretty blue.

My gauge was off compared to what the pattern called for, but I generally don’t care too much about that when it’s a made to measure pattern as long as what I make looks nice and I have enough yarn. My top worked up pretty quickly and easily. The only change I made was the bottom edging (details can be found in my Ravelry project). I think this turned out really cute and I’m so happy to have it done just in time for “Seattle summer” (aka just after 4th of July).
