Holo Taco Magnetic Attraction Collection

The first Holo Taco collection of 2026 dropped and my first impression was mixed. The majority of the collection is magnetic and I’m tired of the hype around this type of polish (especially since I typically find them fairly difficult to use). I was excited to try the heart topper and hoped the super magnet might help change my opinion on magnetics.

The bundle includes:

  • Pretty Privilege - a baby pink magnetic polish with scattered holo and a pale pink magnetic pull

  • Polar Opposites - an aqua blue magnetic polish with aqua/green shimmer and a pale blue/silver magnetic pull

  • Lust In Translation - a lilac linear holo magnetic polish with a silver magnetic pull

  • Playing The Field - a magenta magnetic polish with purple shimmer and an aqua/teal multichrome magnetic pull

  • Flirt Alert - a raspberry pink magnetic polish with scattered holo and a like pink magnetic pull

  • Sweetheart Taco - a pink holo heart shaped glitter topper

  • Magnetic Wand

I also purchased the Super magnet - a 30lb (pull force) horseshoe magnet typically used for the magnetic polish velvet look

I keep seeing this glass nails look (though I think they’re typically done in gel and somewhat 3d), so I decided to give it a try since that would also help me test out the Super magnet. I was really happy with the result! Perhaps the Super magnet helped me like magnetic polishes a little more after all.

As always, here is my comparison video of the polishes in this collection with other Holo Taco polishes I own:

I decided to do a bonus video for this collection to compare unmagnetized, cat eye, and velvet versions of the polishes in this collection as well:
