Relief Wave Purse Prototype v2

I finally finished up the second prototype of my wave purse. This one is bigger than the first version, has an attempt at a flat bottom, and a flat strap. It also annoyed me so much that it took me a year and a half to actually fully finish.

I started this prototype back in July 2024 and got the entire outside done in a little over a month (which probably would have been sooner had I not decided I didn’t like some of the greens and purply grays that I ripped back to and chopped out). The problem was that I wanted to line the bag and add a zipper, but I had no interest in sewing a liner because of how awful that was the last time. I ended up crocheting the liner, but it was difficult and took forever which resulted in at least 2 rather long trips to the naughty bin to think about what it had done.

The purse came out pretty well, but I think the next version I might want to try a 3d printed bottom instead of throwing random thick, but bendy styrofoam stuff in between layers of crochet. I promise to one day get this figured out and post some kind of design notes/pattern/tutorial.
