Holo Taco Jelly Sandwich Collection
Holo Taco launched a springy collection this month - the Jelly Sandwich Collection. I’m a little surprised since I thought Cristine had little interest in doing true jellies since her customer base might not be interested. While I am a visible nail line hater, I’m excited to give it a try since the colors are really pretty (especially the orange)! The only part I’m not keen on (and yet I purchased anyway) is the watermelon scented nail oil since I just don’t think it needs a scent… especially not watermelon. I might also be a melon hater in addition to a visible nail line hater… but on to the polish!
The collection includes:
Sky High - a royal blue jelly polish
Glossed & Found - a watermelon pink jelly polish
Grape Expectations - a purple jelly polish
In My Peelings - a bright orange jelly polish
Meltdown - an aqua blue jelly polish
Butterfly Taco - a silver holo butterfly glitter topper with scattered and flakie holo glitters
Picnic Party Taco - a pastel and iridescent hex glitter topper
Watermelon Nail Oil Pen - a limited edition watermelon scented nail oil pen
The jellies were giving SpongeBob sky vibes, so that’s the direction I took my nail art for this collection - I love how it turned out! (I also figured out a combination of blurring base coats that eliminated my visible nail line problem, but more on that some other time…)
And here’s my comparison video:
