Last night we drove out to Diablo Lake to see the Aurora Borealis with one of Jeff’s coworker friends and her husband. I was hesitant to go since being out in nature after dark is generally not my idea of a good time, but it turned out to be quite a magical experience.

We got to check out the new Flatstick Pub in Redmond Town Center for a friend’s birthday last night. It’s a pretty neat space that includes mini golf, Duffleboard, and a new game called logs in addition to food and drinks.

A pair of walruses recently arrived at Point Defiance Zoo and Mom asked if we could go see them while she was here. Jeff and I were also interested in checking it out since we had never visited this zoo. We went on a Monday morning in hopes that it wouldn’t be too crowded and had a lovely time.
