Ceres Top
CrochetWithAlannaMiall recently released the Ceres top pattern and it was an instant purchase for me since I’m a fan of the puff stitch look.
Crochet Relief Wave Shrug Prototype
Over the last year, I’ve seen this crochet stitch all over social media being used for bralettes, tops, skirts, dresses, etc. After doing some digging, I discovered it’s called a relief wave stitch and found some lovely tutorials (both written and a YouTube video) from Crochet by Ellej. I like to wear a little shrug/sweater over my dresses, but have been having trouble finding any so I decided to try crocheting a shrug using this stitch. It took me almost two months and over 5 frogging sessions, but the initial prototype is complete!
Bridgette Ballet Neck Sweater
I’m back with another finished crochet project: the Bridgette sweater from ilovetinderbox.
Over Hat Ear Warmer
A Boston hat is part of Jeff’s regular attire, but it doesn’t do much to keep him warm in the winter. He discovered the twisted ear warmer I made for myself back in 2022 and started wearing it over his hat. I thought it was cute until I wanted to wear it myself. The solution was clear - I needed to make him his own version that would fit over his hat.
Hot Cocoa Ornaments
These cute little hot cocoa ornaments came from a Mary Maxim kit that my Mom bought a few years ago that I finally got around to crocheting. They worked up pretty quickly, but I don’t know if I’d make them again.
Crochet Clippy Tapestries
I recently crocheted two Clippy tapestries using Stitchfiddle. The first version was a “regular” Clippy that Jeff used as an office white elephant gift. The second version was a strong Clippy based off some artwork that Jeff made for a shirt for his team several years ago that we gave as a birthday gift.
Zinnia Top
I recently spotted a cute tee from Crochet With Carrie called the Zinnia Top. I decided to use it as a stashbuster project for some purple yarn that was sitting in my stash that has been discontinued at Michael’s.
