Modern Crop Top
I recently completed TCDDIY’s cute crochet tank top as a stash buster project. I decided to continue on stash busting and came across the modern crop top tutorial and decided to work it up.
Cute Crochet Tank Top
I was recently introduced to TCDDIY thanks to Youtube’s recommendations. She makes a ton of modern crochet clothing out of category 4 yarn. I have oodles of this type of yarn, so I chose her cute crochet tank top tutorial to use as a stash buster.
Racerback Dress Prototype
There has been a lack of crochet posts on this blog since April because I’ve been working on a dress prototype. It was inspired by a comfy looking racerback dress I saw on Instagram. I decided to make the straps and waist a bit more interesting by using a puff-V stitch, but kept the rest of the dress single crochet so it wouldn’t be too holey.
Another Nami Top
I had some leftover blue yarn from the Aviva dress I recently made, so I decided to play yarn chicken and attempt to make myself another Nami top since the yarn I used for the first version was variegated and really took away from the zig zag design.
Aviva Dress
Alanna of crochetwithalannamiall dropped the Aviva dress pattern last month. Her design is different than most other clothing items I have crocheted so far, but I’m pretty sure that’s the main reason I was so excited to get started on it.
Empress Skirt
I have been so interested in the pattern (texture???) of Lalipopcrochet’s Empress skirt since the pattern came out last June. This pattern has slowly been making its way up my crochet queue since that time and I’m happy to say it finally made it to the top!
Spiral Floor Cushion
I like to sit on the floor next to the coffee table when I drink a hot beverage or eat, but sometimes it’s really uncomfortable to sit like that for an extended period of time. The boyfriend pillow that I took to college with me many moons ago worked as a floor cushion for a while, but I decided it was time for something new. I crocheted a spiral as a stash buster for some leftover mandala yarn that I didn’t know how else to use. Bonus: this cushion doubles as a cat bed (and by that I mean I crocheted this for myself, but my cats think I made it for them - shocker).
