Cali crossed the rainbow bridge earlier this week - her little kidneys just couldn't kidney anymore. She lived a good, long 18ish years (16 of those as a member of our family).

It’s not even halfway through March and Cali has already had a rough go of it. We got our first taste of somewhat scary cat situations when she developed an open wound on her rump overnight.

One of the nice things I’ve realized about staying home is all the extra time I’m getting to spend with the cats, particularly Cali. We recently saw a cat hammock that attaches to the window with suction cups and thought that would be a nice addition to our office for Cali since she spends all day with us.
