Simply has dropped a collection of 8 bright crèmes for summer and I’m pretty excited about it (particularly since it dropped the day before my 40th birthday - thanks, Simply!). I bought the bundle (in addition to a Sonic Unicorn Skin backup since she’s retiring -so sad) meaning I also scored the tote bag. Let’s take a look!

Simply graced us with a lowkey weekday drop of holo a few weeks ago and my bright color loving self is here for it! I was mainly expecting some new linear holos, so I was pleasantly surprised that the collection included a metallic as well as a topper.

This year’s Holo Royalty-designed collection followed a purple plant-y theme. I was a bit divided on this since I felt like there were more exciting themes in the surveys (which is a bit surprising since I am a purple person), but the polishes turned out to be really pretty in person. I especially like the purple holo pouch!

I didn’t pick up Born Ugly last year, so I decided to buy this year’s April 1st collection since it was included. I was fairly surprised by how pretty the colors were when they arrived.

Holo Taco launched a springy collection this month - the Jelly Sandwich Collection. I’m a little surprised since I thought Cristine had little interest in doing true jellies since her customer base might not be interested. While I am a visible nail line hater, I’m excited to give it a try since the colors are really pretty (especially the orange)! The only part I’m not keen on (and yet I purchased anyway) is the watermelon scented nail oil since I just don’t think it needs a scent… especially not watermelon. I might also be a melon hater in addition to a visible nail line hater… but on to the polish!

The first Holo Taco collection of 2026 dropped and my first impression was mixed. The majority of the collection is magnetic and I’m tired of the hype around this type of polish (especially since I typically find them fairly difficult to use). I was excited to try the heart topper and hoped the super magnet might help change my opinion on magnetics.
