An Etsy Update
My Etsy experiment has come to an end. The listings for the six Orange & Shiny original amigurumi animals I posted before the holidays have expired without selling
Lime Amigurumi
My company's logo is a lime, so I decided I wanted to make a lime amigurumi to decorate my cubicle. I set out to find a pattern on Ravelry and initially came across this pattern by Tracie Barrett, but found it is no longer available. I continued browsing and finally decided to make the lime from this amigurumi citrus collection by June Gilbank.
Stitch Fix #13 - February 2017
Another month, another "surprise me" fix from my lovely stylist, Melissa! What did she whip up for me this month? Read on to find out.
Lego SpaceX Falcon 9
This week's post is a little different since I'm still being semi-lazy in the crochet department. Valentine's Nails 2017
The year was off to a great start at our house until Monday when Jeff came down with strep throat. I was really hoping to avoid it, but started feeling incredibly run down on Wednesday evening. By Friday morning, I had a mild sore throat and today it seems to have turned into some sort of cold (thankfully not step!). I got tired of lying around, so I decided it was time to do my nails.
Bowl Cozy Hot Pad
Most of my team at work brings leftovers for lunch at least a few days a week. I noticed a constant theme of us dealing with hot bowls as we try to move food from the microwave to the table where we eat. I decided I could help remedy this (and put an end to my lazy January) by crocheting some bowl cozy hot pads.
Stitch Fix #12 - January 2017
It's time for my January Stitch Fix review! My stylist, Melissa, has been doing an impressive job with "surprise me" fixes for the last few months, so I told her to keep up that trend. She delivered as usual... and in a big way!
