I had heard that Deru Market had a seasonal pumpkin cake and I finally spotted it on their menu this week. I bought a slice yesterday and it’s every bit as big as the last one and even more tasty. The cake is made with local pumpkins and has cream cheese frosting - it’s truly drool worthy.

I recently found out that Real Good Foods put out a breakfast sandwich that had cauliflower buns and thought that would be interesting to try. Luckily, our local QFC stocks most of this brand’s products so we were able to buy a box on a recent grocery shopping trip.

Unfortunately, I eventually established a box of ridiculous rules for myself around a hobby that I loved (ex: only allowing myself to crochet amigurumi because I crochet too tightly for clothing, projects should take no more than X amount of time, etc). These unreasonable expectations sucked the joy out of creating and caused me to burn out HARD.
