Terraria!

Over the Thanksgiving holiday weekend, some friends introduced Jeff and I to a computer game called Terraria. I'm told it's similar to Minecraft, but I've never played that so I can't be sure. I'd describe Terraria as a build your own world game with a bit of fighting monsters thrown in. I hate fighting games, but there's something oddly pleasing about chopping up these enemies with a big, bad, fiery sword.

Sansaire!

Sansaire!

Jeff Kickstartered the Sansaire sous vide machine last fall and we're so excited that it showed up on our doorstep this week! It came in an uber cool package that had a picture of the machine in water(though it took us a bit to figure that out). Jeff immediately opened it, allowed me a few minutes to admire its beauty, put it in a tub of water, and tossed in some eggs to test it out.

Random post alert. I decided I wanted to learn to crochet a while back, but didn't really decide to do it until I signed up for Ravelry. It might be my new favorite website. There are zillions of amazing patterns for just about every interest and I think it's what pushed me to actually learn. I'm in the process of making an amigurumi Totoro right now and I have a ton of others on my "to do" list for later.
