Portland Trip 2017
Since there has been an excess of Stitch Fix posts and little else lately, I'd like to throw in a little travel post. My parents flew out last week and met us in Portland for a long weekend since they'd never been. The following is a photo dump of all (ok, most of) the delicious food we had.
Stitch Fix #21 - November 2017
As we learned last month, my long time stylist went on maternity leave at the end of October. I thought long and hard about whether it was a good idea to schedule a fix in her absence since she does a fantastic job styling me. My ultimate decision was to schedule a fix anyway since she assured me I'd be in good hands. How did it pan out? Read on to find out!
Stitch Fix #20 - October 2017
It's that time again. I can't believe I'm already on Stitch Fix #20! This month I wished my stylist, Melissa, a happy fall and told her to do her thing. She sent a great fall fix. Read on to see more!
Stitch Fix #19 - August 2017
Stitch Fix put out a style quiz through Facebook messenger in the last few months that I was invited to try out. They give you three quizzes to complete per day where they show you items and you give them a thumbs up or down depending on if you'd wear the item. This month was another "surprise me" request to Melissa, so she sent me a fix full of items I'd liked from the quiz. Read on to see what she sent!
Evergreen State Fair 2017
We made our yearly fair trip to get Jeff a corn dog yesterday. He has come to prefer the Evergreen State Fair to the Washington State Fair because it's easier to get to and he says the food is better. I'm undecided, but I also really like fair food so it doesn't make a ton of difference to me. Anyway, we spent a few hours eating and seeing all kind of animals. Here are some photographic excerpts for your enjoyment!
Even More Nail Art
I'm having a pretty hard time with my current crochet project that's causing it to take forever to finish, so I'm sharing some more nail art in an effort to get back on the crafty post wagon.
Stitch Fix #18 - July 2017
You know I've been lazy in the craft/crochet department when you get nothing but Stitch Fix posts here. This has been the case for the last few months, but I'm ramping up on crafting now and new crafty posts will be here soon! In the meantime, back to the point of this post - my July Stitch Fix! I have somehow avoided the notorious cold that you usually find inside offices in the summer, so I actually left my stylist a request this month: please send short sleeve/sleeveless tops or cover ups that can go with some of the sleeveless dresses I own. She delivered exactly what I asked. Read on to see more!
