Sarah Bakes: Confetti Cookies

As previously stated in my Peeps shortbread cookies post, Jeff likes to make a baked good to take into work on Mondays. He was unavailable to make a baked good this week so I decided to practice my almost never used baking skills again. This time I was inspired by the confetti cookies that recently showed up at Costco’s bakery - they don’t appear to be the prettiest cookies in the world, but I bet they taste pretty great just like most other Costco baked goods.

A Visit to Flatstick Pub

We got to check out the new Flatstick Pub in Redmond Town Center for a friend’s birthday last night. It’s a pretty neat space that includes mini golf, Duffleboard, and a new game called logs in addition to food and drinks.

Holo Taco Royalty Debut Trio

I ordered the Holo Taco Royalty Debut Trio along with a few other polishes as part of the Holo Royalty sale a few weeks ago. After what felt like a very long time to a person who gets very impatient with shipping times, everything arrived this week and I was delighted to start testing out the new polishes.

Another Nami Top

I had some leftover blue yarn from the Aviva dress I recently made, so I decided to play yarn chicken and attempt to make myself another Nami top since the yarn I used for the first version was variegated and really took away from the zig zag design.

Aviva Dress

Alanna of crochetwithalannamiall dropped the Aviva dress pattern last month. Her design is different than most other clothing items I have crocheted so far, but I’m pretty sure that’s the main reason I was so excited to get started on it.
